How to Grill Tilapia

One of the healthiest and popular fishes used for preparing grilled dishes, tilapia is very nutritious and safe to eat because the mercury content of the fish is low. Farm raised tilapias are rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Grilling a Tilapia

First, you need to prepare all the utensils and ingredients that you will use for cooking the seafood. The utensils that you need when grilling the fish are barbecue grill, meat spatula and a non-stick aerosol spray. The ingredients that you need for the dish are seasonings such as ½ teaspoon pepper and ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ cup of vegetable oil or olive oil as well as six to eight tilapia fillets for a family of three to four.

Second, pour the oil into the spray. Use the non-stick aerosol spray to oil the grill. Get a sheet of paper towel and wipe the excess oil on the grill. Third, fire up the barbecue grill and preheat. You can do the fourth step while preheating the grill. Fourth, clean tilapia well.

To avoid the fish from breaking apart, avoid flipping it repeatedly. Avoid leaving the seafood when grilling. You can also use a food thermometer to check the seafood for doneness. The fish is mild flavored, so to make it enticing and tastier, you need to season it well. Additionally, you can marinade the seafood overnight to improve its natural flavor.
