How to Grill T-Bone Steak

The process of grilling T bone steaks should be familiar for those who are used to grilling meats. If you have no experience grilling, use the following recipes as guides.

Spicy T Bone Steak


4 T bone steaks

Lemon juice (2 tbsp)

Red wine vinegar (1 tbsp)

1 cup of soy sauce

1/3 tsp of pepper

2 tbsp of cooking oil

½ cup of water

½ tsp of garlic powder

1 tsp of hot sauce


Get a food plastic bag and toss all the ingredients in there including the T bone steaks. Zip the bag. Store this in the refrigerator overnight.

It is possible to start grilling T bone steaks after only six hours of marinate. However the flavors will not penetrate as deeply compared with an overnight marinade for

this recipe.

Remove the steaks from the food bag. Discard the marinade. Turn on the grill. When it’s hot, put the steaks there. Cook each side for 8 to 12 minutes depending on how well you want it done. This dish is served hot.

T Bone Steaks with Okra


½ cup of butter

4 red onions (large, peeled and sliced)

T bone steaks (4 pieces, 2” thick)

BBQ sauce

2 tomatoes (chopped with seeds removed)

Deep fried okra



Olive oil


Flavor the T bone steaks with some salt and pepper. Sprinkle on

some olive oil too. Before you start grilling T bone steaks, this step is necessary. It will give the meat additional flavors.

Prepare a baking sheet. Sprinkle the onions on it. Top it with some butter. Cook the onions until they turn golden brown. Add more butter to it. Flip the onions and cook the other side. Put the steaks on the grill.

Sprinkle in some of the BBQ sauce. Grill for 8 minutes per side. Flip it and cook the other side for 8 minutes too. Serve this with the tomatoes, onions and the okra.

T Bone Steaks with Vinegar


2 T bone steaks (1 inch)

1/3 cup of olive oil

Fresh rosemary (1 tsp)

1 garlic clove (minced)


2 tbsp of red wine vinegar

Freshly ground pepper

2 tbsp of parsley

Before you start grilling T bone steaks, combine the parsley, vinegar and salt in a shallow baking pan. Add the rosemary, garlic clove and pepper to the mixture.

Make sure the ingredients are mixed well. Now add in the T bone steaks. Turn the steaks over so both sides are covered. Put the marinade and the steaks in the refrigerator. Keep it there for an hour.

Turn on the grill. Remove the steaks from the marinade. Cook the steaks 4 minutes per side for medium rare. Cook for a couple of minutes longer for well-done. This dish should be served immediately.

Tips and Warnings

Because it’s too easy to overcook, you should pay attention to the time. If you go over a minute or so, the flavors may change. It doesn’t take too much time anyway, so pay attention.
